Harry Smith, Vice President Contracting
Contracting Vice President Harry Smith came to RAM in 2009 from Royal American Construction (RAC) where he held the position of Vice President and continues to be a valued support to RAC. He began his career in the construction industry in 1975 as an Assistant Superintendent of Quality Control; through 1992, he worked in a variety of Construction Superintendent / Manager Positions where he was responsible for a variety of project supervision and management duties, budget control, and contract negotiations. In 1992, he began employment with RAC as Project Manager and was promoted to RAC Vice President in 1998. Mr. Smith has been associated with the development and construction of a wide variety of residential and commercial developments. He was awarded Construction Superintendent of the Year from Lincoln Property Company in 1984 and 1988. He holds a State of Florida General Contractor Certification, State of Florida Underground Utility Contractor Certification, Red Cross First-Aid CPR Certification, and is familiar with OSHA and ADA requirements, Florida Building Codes, SBCC, and Life Safety Codes.
