Wendi LeMense, Vice President Compliance/Resident Relations

Royal American Management Compliance / Resident Relations Vice President Wendi LeMense is responsible for ensuring that Housing Credit communities comply with all IRS and State Housing Agencies’ policies and regulations and LURAL requirements. She is certified in Housing Credit Management and oversees compliance, reporting, and training requirements for over fifty RAM-managed Housing Credit communities, many with multiple funding sources and multiple program requirements. She worked for over nine years with the Florida Department of Children and Families in the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families Programs, Nutritional Assistance Programs, and Medicaid Health Care Programs, where she gained extensive experience in interpreting, training, and ensuring compliance with complex government policies and regulations. Mrs. LeMense serves as the Welfare Reform Specialist for RAM. She is responsible for understanding and interpreting Welfare Reform policy and how the policy is being implemented by Public Assistance staff. As a member of the Gulf Coast Workforce Development Board and the WAGES Committee, she is directly involved in shaping Welfare Reform Policies and often advocates for individuals directly affected by Welfare Reform Policy. She disseminates Welfare Reform information to the President, Vice Presidents, and the Regional, Area, and Community Managers so they in turn can distribute vital information to the communities. Ms LeMense has an AA in Mass Communication, is a designated Certified Credit Compliance Professional (C3P), a member of IREM, and a CPM Candidate. She began employment with RAM in 1995.
