Frank Johnston, President

Royal American Management President Frank Johnston is a retired USAF Colonel with 40 years senior management experience including over 20 years of diversified experience within the Multifamily Housing Industry. Mr. Johnston began his employment with Royal American Construction in 1981 where he was responsible for general contractor/subcontractor interface during construction of twenty-six HUD and FmHA apartment communities in Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.

In 1984, he assumed the position of RAM Regional Property Manager responsible for the physical and financial integrity of all RAM-managed HUD and FmHA apartment communities operating under a variety of agency programs. After nine months, he moved to the position of Vice President responsible for all HUD, FmHA, Luxury, and Commercial communities managed by the RAM.

Mr. Johnston was promoted to President of Royal American Management on October 1, 1990. In December 1994, he departed the Company to pursue personal interests and returned to the organization as RAM President in June 1996, where he is now responsible for one of the largest and most varied current apartment community portfolios in the Southeast.

The Management Company has been structured to accommodate an anticipated growth to 25,000 units located throughout eight states.
